Hi. I am getting towards the end of making the map and am having trouble with lasers . I have env_laser and an info_target and they are connected with a laser beam in hammer. Yet this does not show in game. Any ideas ? Cheers

When making lasers I usually use 2 env_lasers and make em point at each other. I've had this issue in the past with a jumprope where the laser won't work.

Lasers can be made easier to see by changing their width, brightness, colour, texture, noise.

Loads of ways, just play about with those values.

If they appear connected in Hammer, then play with these values.

It might be working in-game but it's too small/dim for you to see.

Thing is, i checked it in game whilst the laser was set to dmg 5 and walking through where the laser was supposed to be dosent do any damage like as if the laser is not there.

From my experiences with laser damage it's buggy and inconsistent, so when I'm making something involving lasers, I'll usually make a trigger_hurt and use the vertex tool to stretch it to where the laser will be, and then I'll disable the laser damage altogether so it doesn't interfere. If you don't know how to use the vertex tool I could attempt to explain it (it basically allows you to grab the edges of brushes and shape them how you want, it's basically a better cropping tool for most situations).

But if you finding yourself using it too much then it's best to create a 3D model and import it into your map.
