Weekly Update Idea:

I had a small idea,on the news and updates part of the forum's we should have post weekly updates about whats going on with the server/community.Like an Overview what has happened in the previous week/week to come:

For Example:

-Who the New Members are:

-If there is an event coming up,give us a bit of info:

-If new maps get implemented into the server,what are they:

-If people leave/step down let us know:

-Just things in general:

Just a thought,I know you can find out all this Information by looking around but I think It would be neat to have it in a single post to look back on.

I like this idea, it doesn't necessarily have to be something weekly however a brief description of whats happened recently would be nice. In fact it'd probably work well after the regular mod meetings because I know a lot of these things are decided then.

That being said I know that sometimes things such as events are kept secret right until they happen.

Events are kept secret until they're mostly finalised for obvious reasons

People who step down normally post a thread, same for people who are demoted

Can easily see new members as they'll appear in the new posts list as "PASSED"

Maps are probs a good idea though

For maps just make a changelog, i used one for a while when i was doing that stuff.

Everything else gets posted as a big batch of news like once a month so isnt needed in a weekly thread.
