Good cheap knife to use to trade up to a more expensive one?

So I know some of you in the community have really expensive knifes and know a somewhat about trading.

I am going to put roughly £70 on my steam account and try to trade up to a more expensive knife.

I just want some opinions on what knifes you think are best to get to use to trade up??

I have been trading for 8 months and I suggest you to go for the most common ones without special patterns or any rare skins like urban masked fn.

From personal experience, stay away from case hardeneds. Most people don't care about patterns at all until you get to 150 keys or more costing knifes.

You can easily check from the steam market how many of each knife type there are currently. More common the better of course.

They have the most variance in pattern and style and it's pretty hard to try and judge their value
