You don't have to be 16 to play it, to buy it you do though.

That is a lie. I bought 18+ games when I was 12. Ratings are there for parents who want to give their kids a valid reason not to play a game.

It is not legal for parents to but it for you, its still illegal. If you go the cinema to see an 18 when your 16 they wont sell you a ticket, even if you parents but it for you. If you go into a bar with your dad and he buys you a pint, you will be chucked out if your under 18.
