  1. Map has reached a milestone of 1,000 Downloads! Again, I know a lot of you wanted more in the map, that a lot of you expected more, but due to certain time restrictions, I was forced to rush the map and I hope most of you can get that. I still say, Thanks for all the support and efforts towards this. As a community we created something and published it.. We stuck together during high tides and never let go, and that is why we are still here today. Ive hit my milestone, now I'd like to see us as a whole, achieve our communities milestone, what ever obstacles may be in the way.
  2. Well, I guess I owe it to you McLovin, I was under the wrong impression. Thanks for the photos, they did actually clear up a lot of confusion for me, I'll see what I can do to fix it. Also, if we can get this thread ( ) to have more graffiti submissions, that would be great as it would fill up a lot of the empty walls. I guess the line of action that I can take now is either to rename that area or fix it up a bit by cutting down on the trees, adding concrete, more walls and more alleyways Edit: Suburban Slum Area? I was thinking about it, and my conclusion was: It can't be full ghetto, especially not in the inner city where this map is placed.

  4. Alright, discussion time. Here's what the map looks like right now The last two pictures are the pictures which I would like to discuss with y'all. Now, this is the "ghetto/slum" section of the map, what should go there and what should it look like? (include pictures if you need to visualize your point). I'll keep you posted. Keep me posted.

  10. Just to clarify, if I don't reply to your suggestions and ideas, I am reading them and taking them into consideration, I'm leaving this thread as an open and continuous discussion. Like a deck of cards that keeps on growing, I keep checking the cards and studying them thoroughly. Right now, I'm almost done with the police department and it will come to a stage where we need another test in order to complete it. I almost have an internet connection, still working on that too..   12. Welcome! I've decided to scrap work on the castle map and instead, start working on a community map for the Outbreak RP Server and Community. The maps name will be rp_outbreak_city. May change in the future, but in the time-being, it is what it is. This map will be a medium/large size map and will need as much contribution from this community in order for it to be properly produced. Sources of help: -Creative Ideas -Graphical Illustrations of ones thought/idea -Well detailed/described posts about ones thought/idea -A collaborative discussion This map will be centered around a "Centerpoint" which will be mostly modeled as a park. This map will require lots of work and it surely wont be easy to make. Screenshots will be provided once progress has begun. Stay tuned.   13. Guess I'm going to edit the map after all.. Going to make another version of this with much more interesting features! If you'd like to contribute, just fill up this thread with ideas and suggestions, I'll go through all of them and try my best to put them in. For example: The water around the moat, why not make it turn into lava? Add a new room that siuvnuluartuvarht?

  15. Alright everyone, its been a blast spending every hour of my time on the forums and the outbreak servers. I've enjoyed having chats with most of you, I've enjoyed mapping for you and most of all, I've enjoyed all of you! I find it brilliant that there exists such a community with such a member base. I've grown to become one of you and most of you have become great friends of my. I hope for the best and wish everyone the best of luck in their upcoming lives. I've decided to take a rather massive turn and will be traveling with most of my mates and heading back to university. I'm going to pick up my life again and hopefully live my life to its fullest. This is not a good bye. I hate good bye(s). I'll try my best to stay in contact with most of you via teamspeak. (Maybe Steam) Party hard woohooo Other than that, enjoy outbreak and support it!   17. I usually don't post on member applications however I find that I have to involve myself this time. Vodo has been with us for quite a long time now and has not been a harm to anyone. He's been more active lately and has been engaging and talking to members and non members of this community and has shown great support. I find that Vodo is already a member among us. Not once has he been abusive to others, not once has he made people leave. In fact, Vodo tends to command on maps which others avoid when no one wants to command as much as he would have wanted to remain a prisoner. He is a fun and friendly person to have around. He's polite and knows how to go about talking to people he has never met before. Go Vodo! I feel privileged having posted in this thread. Vodo, you have my +1
  18. This reply is to Cash.. This is super simple and easy to do. All you need for this is platforms as you said and just calibrating "mancannons" (using this term to explain) to the correct angle/push scale and you're good to go. You can also have multiple cannons that fire you in different directions. Really simple. Go for it Unseen
  19. I had a catapult.. I lost it when my harddisk got fried. That harddisk getting fried was another reason I stopped mapping. It took away a very updated version of the map. I had to revert back to a alpha state of the map now we're here. It's almost done, expect it out for its final tests in day or two.

  22. This isn't caused by the maps. This is a rare case, however, it happens nevertheless. This used to happen to a server I used to play on during a small lagspike which caused some values to go wrong. A server restart is all that is needed. I've raised awareness to McLovin after the first instance. He restarted the server and all was fine.

Maps that were suggested: Map1: ba_jail_smitty_minecraft Map2: jb_kittens_b1 Map3: ba_jail_crazy_carrier_94 Map4: ba_jail_russ-team_area Map5: Jb_paper_alive -------------What I am doing here in this post is just making a little summary with more information for anyone viewing this thread--------- In regards to Map2(Kittens) we previously had it on the server. It was then removed for a good set of reasons. In regards to the minecraft map(Map1); Seems different. Wide/Open. In regards to Map3: Hehe, the map is based off the map in BF3 (The boats gave it away). Other than that, it looks pretty tight on the inside, may cause a hassle or two. In regards to Map4: I'm not sure if this is a full map. It seems to be just the cell area. On top of that, it's a 1MegaByte file, which indicates its tiny as fawk. (Supports my claim of just the cells) In regards to Map5: Its got a lot of things to do in, unfortunately, many of its textures are not in English. The mapper even claims {(texture of this game in french sorry, you'll have to figure that represents the picture but it's not very complicated)} Other than that, it seems like a nice map. --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks you for submitting your idea.
  24. You are so full of shit it's unreal. I thought you were going to do something better with your life and join RIOT. Did that not work out for you? I'm sure Outbreak isn't any ones "PLAN B". Take a hint, a lot of people dislike you and do not want you here. Leave. You are creating problems by the minute. Your presence is not required and never was.
