Yeah I get that, but I generally just unlock for a day - if you play juts a few games, you'll get more than enough for a bunch of equipment, as equipment is about 200gp. Also, I've found this game is a lot better when done in tandem with teamspeak, and a team which actually knows what's going on (i.e your friends). And the Pay2Win thing is fair, but I don't think it's as big a deal in BLR than it is in other games: within an hour or two of playing, I was killing people who'd obviously bought their elite gear, with the basic assault rifle lol. And you can unlock pre-made stuff for cheapish too. Briant Solo (or something) is a great AR. :) EDIT: If you ever wanna' give it another try, Fluxy, on BLR, my name is 'vengabus', so send me a friend request. It's more fun with people who know how to play.

Has anyone played it? <- The trailer for it.A friend got me into it, and at first I was really sceptical, but it's satisfying and fun to play. The game modes are varied, and I particularly get on with Kill Confirmed - it is essentially TDM, but you (or your team mates) have to collect the kill from the downed baddy's body. However, there is nothing to stop their team mates from retrieving the kill before you do, and whilst they don't get a kill for it, they deprive you of one. It's a cool game, not too fast, not too slow. Oh and I forgot to mention the inbuilt wallhack, which is basically its unique selling point. Imagine thermal vision, but seeing a lot farther. I'm from the UK, and have been quite a bunch of places, but I'd advise go to Poland. Krakow is awesome, cheap, and the people are beautiful, and are also very nice. Plus vodka is roughly £5 a bottle for some really nice stuff. And the locals are keen to party, but do speak Polish, however, there are always other foreigners keen to explore this hidden gem. I hope you don't hate Spanish/Italian girls, else you'll loathe this place. Hohoho Send me a PM if you'd like more specific info man. And don't bother with Australia. Not worth the flight, mate. You can buy VB in the UK. :)

Ah I wasn't really aware of the technical difficulties. But yeah - couldn't it simply be the player's responsibility? I can generally hear orders fine when the radio is at 40% (and I might up this when I'm dead and unable to speak).

Then don't type /radio. Pretty simple LoL.

I was listening to it today and it was actually pretty good. It's more that I can't really hear it 90% of the time. But yeah, a selection wouldn't hurt, would it?

Is there any possibility of a better/different radio set-up? I've seen servers in CS 1.6 where you can actually select from a large list of national radio stations (though this server was French*). Even playing on another server, Blaze, I found they had a far better radio station in terms of music and volume. Is there a reason why the volume is capped at 20%? Is this to prevent commander from being drowned out? Couldn't the individual be trusted to have the volume at an appropriate level? I'm going to Paris v. soon to stay with a friend, and to get various jobs doing whatever I can. It's the first time I'm actually able to decide my life direction, as before I have been in courses, university and school. On one hand, it's very exciting: on the other, it's a little scary. And I'm not looking forward to dealing with bureaucracy. In French.
