I think painscope was outta line there, but he doesn't deserve a 2 month ban, for this.. I can see there have been past incidences, but still 2 months seems a bit to much. Maybe just a final warning or something. Behave painscope! :roll: Sorry, I shouldn't be posting here anyway.

My steam account got suspended, and it might take a few days to sort out. For what reason i am not yet aware of. I'm not a hacker or anything... :roll:

It didn't say anything that could help me out really. I just contacted steam by email, I don't think it will get me anywhere though.

So, I tried to log onto steam and it says my account has been suspended because someone else has logged onto my account or there is a payment dispute going on. This has never happened to me before, So can someone please help me out? The only possible things I can think of that has happened is that one of my friends logged onto my account or something and guessed my password.

I'd just like to give my tuppence. If I'm not mistaken, the main purpose of this server is to provide entertainment and enjoyment to all. If someone puts into danger other people's enjoyment, then they should be banned. An example of this is cheating, not playing by the rules etc. But for something as minor as this.. being disrespectful is not a good reason to demote someone in my opinion. Sure, if someone is continually rude and disrespectful, then they should be dealt with. But Tweep only made one comment, and he apologised and asked for a second chance. I'm sure Mclovin is perfectly able to but a small comment such as Tweep's, behind him. For that reason Tweep has put no ones enjoyment in danger, he didn't really hurt anyone's feelings, and it I believe that it was an unfair punishment. Everyone deserves a second chance, if they really mean it. Also, I'm not really sure I understand what is meant by 'lack of social communication'. Is Tweep not 'cool' enough to moderate the server? Gaming, regardless of weather you can use a mic or not, is antisocial. It is impossible to socialise with another person(s) without actually talking to them in person. Tweep was a good moderator, he was fair and a good guy. I still don't see the need for such hate. Murc

I can understand if you get stressed out easily, but thats more reason to try to nice to other people. Hopefully, you will come straight to the point next time and just tell me what I did wrong. Ok, well i apologise for missing your comment. But even so, you told me that you would try to control your temper, even in your response to my thread you seem to be overly aggressive. My point is that, instead of losing your temper over nothing and possibly hurting other peoples feelings, you should actually explain why you are so angry, and you should only ever be angry with good reason. In all of my examples you get angry over nothing. "man up and just let it roll off like water off a ducks" Well slightly contradictory, seeing as whenever I kill you, you feel the need to call me trigger happy, or a shit CT. Its not up to you weather its abusive or not, how do you know you haven't hurt my feelings? You can't be blatantly mean to other players, and then 'call banter'...I am trying to become a better commander/CT, but when the admin of the server I play on tells me i'm shit, I feel like I have wasted about 200 hours of my life trying to become better. Anyway, I don't really care how much you swear at me. I would like you to only call me trigger happy with good reason, and to provide a valid example. Also I would like to you to do so without trying to hurt my feelings. And instead of hindering my progress as a CT/my enjoyment in-game, which is the complete opposite of what you should be doing, try helping me out and tell me what i did wrong.

Ok, this is the 3rd or 4th time Sholto has been abusive towards me. This is also the second complaint I have made about him. I have tried to ask him about the matter in-game, but he seems to want to ignore me because seconds after I asked him about it he uses his microphone and talks to other people in the chat. 1st Incident: This was a while ago, I have forgiven him for it but I have not forgotten about it. The commander said crouch follow me, and Sholto escaped through the vent and into the armoury. I killed him, and he started complaining about how he had no guns and i could have let him off. He then said I was the definition of a 'shit CT'. 2nd Incident: Again this was a while ago, and me and Sholto sorted it out, but it seems he doesn't really take me seriously. A T escaped from the stack, i followed him and when he saw he was cornered the T ran towards me, and I killed the T. Sholto said i could have let him live. Fair enough, but if a T wants to enjoy the round they must do so by not rebelling. It is not the fault of a CT if the T decides he/she wants to rebel and risk their own enjoyment. He then said, I was a trigger happy noob. He slayed me and swapped me for that. 3rd Incident: This happened earlier today, on Training camp Sholto made a run for the awp tower and I killed him. He then called me a trigger happy cunt. 4th Incident: About 15 minutes later, the T's were in a rebellious mood, so I took precaution against that and said, all T's crouch now or I will kill you. I never actually killed anyone for standing up. But still Sholto persists in being rude towards me, and says that 'Yea cause that's what your like, murcury. Fucking trigger happy.' I said,'What have I done to be trigger happy?' And Sholto seemed incapable of producing any examples. So, in summary Sholto has been repeatedly abusive towards me even though he told me he would control his temper after the second incident. I can understand if he doesn't like me, for whatever reason. Although, if he did dislike me it would probably make him a fairly shallow person seeing as we have never talked before, and the only time we have ever heard each other talk is over a video game not person to person. However, I'm sure Sholto is a respectable guy, its just people behave differently over the internet, right? Anyway, it's not the fact that sholto swore at me that pisses me off, because i am perfectly capable of taking a few meaningless swear words. Its the fact that Sholto ignored me and refused to tell me what I had done wrong, and also the fact that he is an admin and should know better. Especially as this is the 4th incident. Murc

I heard a while ago that dead players should not use their mics. So what is the point in dead players being able to use their mics in the first place? Wouldn't it make more sense to permanently mute dead players and at the same time allow live players to see dead chat. This way, if there happens to be a mic spammer online a CT can simply kill him and the problem is solved. It would also mean less whining about freekilling and talking over the commander. If a player does want to complain about a freekill he can simply say so in chat rather than over mic. Just querying about something I have been thinking about for a while.
