M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted January 12, 2016 Over the years, Outbreak sometimes has found itself to be the target of DDoS attacks. What should you do to check if a server is down? Firstly check in-game to see if it can be accessed. After this, check the forum banners to see if they're online (They refresh every few minutes so be patient). If you are still unsure then message someone else in the community to see if they are having the same issues. What you should not do: Do not create a thread asking if a server is down. Do not ask when it will be back up on a publically accessible part of the forums. Instead what you should do is send one of the moderators a Steam message or a PM on the forums and they can get that information with you. Please leave the public posting to the moderators, it is up to them to decide whether a public message is to be made. Whenever you post a thread saying "Server is down" and then discuss how bored you are, it gives satisfaction to the person doing it. Hopefully this is the last thread of this kind, although can I suggest a members' only section of the forums simply titled "Status". A private forum where people can discuss server issues outside of public viewing. Quote Share this post Link to post
