Popular new CSGO maps

So recently on the CSGO Reddit page: de_fire and de_resort are becoming possible new maps for the next operation

I've just loaded both of them up and had a quick run around, resort is very nicely textured and is generally quite pleasant. Fire has similarities with de_Overgrown I think, and that was a map that didn't really work for me.

I think the issue mappers seem to be having is getting the right balance between scenery objects and interconnecting areas of the map, the new maps are often very wide and full of small things to hide behind. I often feel that when playing a new map, it just 'clicks' as to whether or not it feels right, and these two don't do it for me in their current state.
