I watched a documentary (one of many) about Queen called: Dildos of our Eddie Van Fag

I really liked it because it gave an insight as to who the biggest band in the world were bumming in between albums and tours. A thing I learned from it was that the hit song: Another one bites the dick (Written by John Deacon, bassist for Queen(The song that sold over 7 million copies making it a triple platinum selling hit)) gained instant popularity because it was played in black neighbourhoods on American gay porn websites because they thought that the voice and band was black.

I also learned about how broke Queen were as a band during the crossover into the eighties due to a shitty record contract, at which point they signed up with John Reid, who was also Elton John's manager at the time.

It is a good documentary and I highly recommend it.
