-AMD are better than Intel when it comes to budget CPU's it actually isn't far off the performance of an i5 and it's much cheaper

-Cheap but good MOBO keeping potential to overclock because IMO you should cause it's so easy to do and can increase performance drastically

-550w +80 bronze PSU will be more than enough for what you're doing and it's great for the price (I have it and I've OC'd etc and only use about 450-500w)

-Cheap and quality case (Again I have it and recommend it)

-Great GPU, best available in that price range

This should run all modern games on medium/high settings

Personally I don't like amd had some bad times with it.. And my friends to.. Intel will last longer

This is my pc specs:

- recon 750 watt

- QuadCore Processer I5-3470 3,2Ghz

- 120Gb SSD Samsung / OCZ

- 1T hard dive

- Z68 extreme4 s1155 (motherboard)

- 16GB work space

- Nvidia GTX660Ti Asus 2Gb DDR5 PCI-E (I will get a second one for SLI mode)

Seems like a one off, I know plenty of people who have AMD CPU's and they run fine
