Well, the new SimCity is really too easy. The old ones were realistic and solid as fuck to actually start. It would take 3 times to get it right with little in game guidance. They don't look pretty though. The new one looks good but is very automated play. In the old one you had to connect water pipes and electricity but now you simply clip the powerplant/watertowers to the roads and everything else is left to the game.

The old ones are very cheap to buy, you can get SC4 for like £5.
