as you can see in the image of my screenshot it shows me someone being killed but not who and who did it. i have no idea what i have done to make it like this but it is really annoying. i have tried reinstalling it but still comes up like this and ive also tried installing new huds but still that doesnt work. ive tried google but thats just as usefull as magickarp in a pokemon battle.

please can some help

Have you tried to mod you HUD or something? Or installed some gun models or anything like that? If so, don't do that again.

nah, i removed an gui that ive had for ages so that i would have the original again but in the process i think i deleted the file that has the text and font for what is missing.

tried deleting your cstrike folder? when you run css it should redownload everything ( you can backup maps and that) maybe that would fix it maybe?

or it could fuck your css beyond repair, dunno tbh, just go heavy on the YOLO and try it

Don't quote me on this but i think it's because when you uninstall, it leaves all the mod files lying around, then when you reinstall it's almost as if nothing has changed.

Reinstalling cs:s only works when you've accidentally deleted an important file, or overwritten one.
