barrythemorris 0 Posted December 3, 2012 ba_jail_ob_facilityBv2 Content Changes in blue Armoury Changed the sg550 (auto sniper) to a FAMAS changed xm1014 (auto shotgun) to m3 (pump action shotgun) changed spawning of weapons so if a spawned weapon is not picked up it will be destroyed and replaced if button is pressed again The armoury is where the CTs spawn, there are two exit doors that open via a button inside the armoury. The armoury can only be opened from the inside. Weapons spawn via a button on the glass that contains them. It takes 3 seconds for a weapon to spawn. You cannot access guns outside the armoury even when dropped against the doors and walls. The doors do not kill players who stand over them. Contains: ammo m4a1 90 , deagle 35, awp 20, FAMAS 90, sg552 90, dual elites 90, p90 100, m249 200(machine gun), m3 60 (pump action shotgun) Picture of armoury: Cell area changed the health of the vent so it takes 6 right clicks to break added extra edges to roof to round off cell area added more details and props to cell area The cell area contains 14 cells, there are no guns or vents inside the cells. The cells are opened by a button inside a small protected building. There is a blue square at the bottom of the cell stairs to make sure Ts know where to go. Similarly there is a red line to guide them to the obstacle course. Finally there is a ladder on one side of the cells, by going across the cells you can access a vent, which takes two right clicks to open. The vent leads to the armoury and you will take 6 points of fall damage dropping in from the ceiling. However the path to the vent can be easily covered from almost anywhere. Pictures of cell area: Obstacle course changed final ledge so no longer able to cheat, added invisible walls so no longer able to get out of map or cheat A red line guides the Ts into the start of obstacle, a building to the right allows the CTs to watch over the Ts and activates the start and finish doors of the obstacle. Once activated the starting door cannot be closed, the only way to leave the obstacle is to complete it. Fall damage from the obstacle scales with fall distance and you will be teleported back to the start if you survive. The obstacle course is fairly easy for the most part. But requires a tricky strafe jump at the end. Picture of obstacle course: Trivia The trivia has a green line leading into the teleporter, the teleporter teleports Ts into separate cubicles. There are 32 cubicles but the teleporter will stop working after it has been used 32 times until the next round. There is a question stand for the CTs to use, they are supposed to ask a question and then press the question button. Once pressed a answer button will appear for the Ts to press. Then a blue square will appear on whoever presses the button first. The question stand will then present a red and green button to kill or let the T live respectively. If the red button is pressed the T will be teleported above the Zarlac pit and killed. If the green button is pressed the T will be teleported into the winners box, which can be opened by a button from the outside. The question button will then reappear and the process can repeat. There is also an exit button behind the question stand that will transport all Ts into the winners box. Also the Zarlac pit has an invisible wall around Ts who are teleported into it preventing them from escaping. Pictures of Trivia: Notes The map has 16 CT spawn points and 28 T spawn points, the cell doors only open when the cell button is pressed, cell doors do not kill players. It is hard to rebel on this map. No draw has been added to all faces not shown to optimize map. Here is an aerial view of the map: Please feel free to add any criticisms and suggestions to this thread. MAP FILE VV ba_jail_ob_facilitybv2.zip Quote Share this post Link to post
Tiny 16 Posted December 3, 2012 Question - Is there any way to get the T's out of trivia once they're in the trivia boxes? Or is the only way out via the green/red buttons for individual terrorists? Edit - Ah :D Also, you should add moar things to do :D. Musical Chairs is a good one, Tic Tac Toe, Some sort of skipping rope? (Maybe make skipping interesting, two skipping ropes @ once) Swimming pool would be nice too :) Just some ideas! Quote Share this post Link to post
barrythemorris 0 Posted December 3, 2012 There is also an exit button behind the question stand that will transport all Ts into the winners box. Tic Tac Toe should be easy compared to Trivia, Trivia has over 300 IN/OUT puts T_T. For the next version I was going to add a disco, medic and pool but I could go for a skipping rope. Thanks for feedback. Quote Share this post Link to post
barrythemorris 0 Posted December 3, 2012 Yeah it's not clear from the photos that it's there but I forgot about it :P I didn't realize how hard it would be to make a trivia, I've spent about 4-6 hours making it. I spent about an hour designing the logic IN/OUT so that it could be operated based on 3 main buttons. A skipping, disco and pool should take a lot less time altogether than this trivia XD. Jamie 2,319 Posted December 3, 2012 Should maybe add 1 random USP (with 1 magazine) in the cells. They need some initial way to rebel. Quote Share this post Link to post
