I used to feel the same way Scrooge, but when you learn the basics and that, it becomes a lot of fun and quite easy :D I've been making a mario themed trade map for TF2 lately and it even has the classic music playing :3

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL49181E166D134829 This youtuber showed me how to do alot of stuff on Hammer and now i know it by the book and it's pretty easy :3 If you ever want to know how to do something e.g. entities / ambiance etc. Just search the key things on YouTube. E.g. 'Hammer tutorial entities' Also if your using your own custom files in your map YOU MUST have a program such as pak.bsp or pakrat. I personally use pakrat as i find it easier to use :). These programs 'pak' the custom files into the map so they'll auto download into the clients computer. Otherwise the person playing on the map will see purple black textures and not hear any custom sounds if you get me. Hope this helped anyone out :)

Update: Unfortunate news. My computer broke down a few days ago and during the repair process i had to format my Hard drives for a reinstallation of windows, (Formatting a drive means wiping it clean of any data for anyone who doesn't know) Meaning i lost the map files :| Sorry for the inconvenience, as i'm not making it all over again as that was 40+ hours down the drain. Feel free to lock this.

Yeah they also decided on the previous map to try and delay the last round. Pingu freekilled everyone except for little pingu so they could delay. Luckily AdamB saved us all and killed him :P

It's possible that happened :) In my opinion i'd give you the benefit of doubt with a 2nd chance, as i have saw you as a nice regular on the server a lot who i never thought would freekill, but the decision isn't up to me i'm afraid :| Again this is my opinion though.

I used to use it when tracking a person that i needed to ban when i used to be an admin on JAG, so i thought it could be useful if used with the source ban info as it gives all the useful info such as: SteamID, Current name, and steam profile. I looked at your previous names and it has Venruki listed in it?

Just finished the armoury, but i don't know how to make a team restricted door so CTs can only open it. The restricted door thing isn't a must have. But i'd appreciate it if someone enlightened me. :)

Well it took me over half a day to just do the climb haha. I also added a 'fail room' to my climb, so if you fail the jump and fall you get teleported into it. I haven't used any lighting at all yet, i'm gonna do that when i've finished the map. It isn't out the pool, i've tried it on multiple test saves and it's the same black texture on top. :s Also i finished off the climb this morning :D. Starting on bhop now.
