I had predicted that my post wouldn't get approved. Censoring the other side of an argument is extremely petty and further proves my ongoing point of unnecessary over-regulation. You aren't stupid enough to play dumb. You know what you were doing, you wanted a reaction and you got one. Then you use that to write some impartial, patronising response to a genuine complaint on this forum. I would expect someone in your position to be following the rules and leading by example, rather than breaking them and blaming the members for their past mistakes as a way of justifying your own actions.

@Jak Not true. It's about coordination but eyes aren't necessarily needed. Lots of pianists close their eyes when they are in the moment. Although for me when I played I mainly found myself remembering the visual patterns of the notes, and audibly hearing when I got it wrong.

From what I understand, warden role is someone buying their own server and running it. Or maybe it is OB funded.

I think that it would help having some of the older members running the place in high positions. It would bridge the gap between "OG" and everyone else. Personally, the reason I will not be applying for mod again is because of fears of what happened last time I wanted there to be some big changes. It doesn't happen, and even in the mod section, it gets ignored for a long time. And also the fact that Frostie had a rod up his arse the moment he got senior mod to the point where he treated everyone like we were less than him. Again, personally I will work with people and not below them - that doesn't mean being owner, it means being respected enough to work. It might even require a new role. Something like "Community Development Admin".

It's good to have an update. I think it's important that a monthly update comes from you guys if you're serious about getting this going. I'm frustrated seeing the months roll by with nothing being done or communicated, knowing that I personally wouldn't ever let that happen if this place was my responsibility. That being besides the point, I can't complain that you are now giving us this update, and promising new things. Just stick to them and more importantly, prove that you can deliver them. I voiced my annoyances with the community when I was a mod last time, and I was just totally ignored until it was raised in the Discord thread. You can't ignore people to that extent if you want it to grow. Communication is in practice on of the easiest things to do, but it can be hard to mentally prepare yourself for the consequences of it. I think you need to prove that you can be more transparent by consistently interacting with members on the forums. Don't read controversial threads and not respond. We all look to the community owner when discussing plans/future/topics around Outbreak as a whole, and for the last few months we've had nothing to look at. I'm glad this has happened, albeit slightly sceptical if totally honest. I'm always around if extra help is required, but only if the task is treated with some trust and room to operate. He has excelled in his role and has gone above and beyond to ensure tasks within the community are getting done.
