M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted August 3, 2013 Steam have a Fallout day on today: I've played through Fallout 3 on the PS3 and bought 2 of the DLC. I then got it for PC with no DLC and modded the shit out of it. I've played through New Vegas on the PS3. I then bought the GOTY edition on PC and played through it again. Me thinks I should buy Fallout 3 GOTY again and play it properly. Quote Share this post Link to post
Biggles 44 Posted August 3, 2013 I've been whoring Fallout 3 on Ps3, getting a platinum because its the one game that seems enjoyable whilst doing. The older games don't cost much on fallout 3 so I'd say go for it Hooooooooooooowever, GOTY has this problem where once your save file gets over a certain size (because you're too badass) it'll start to lag and freeze on occasion which is a real pain in my jingleberries Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted August 3, 2013 Hmm.... That save file thing doesn't bother me because I know there is a solution somewhere. I'ma buy it, just looked at Skyrim and it looks too fantasy for me. I've considered it too many times and have finally decided that I don't ever want to buy it. Rather play Fallout 3 again. Quote Share this post Link to post
Biggles 44 Posted August 3, 2013 Don't buy the more recent bethesda games on console Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted August 3, 2013 Oh I won't. They take millennia to load even the smallest things. They freeze/crash alot. When I had Fallout 3 on PS3, after 65hrs of gameplay my save thing was like 17MB and just crashed all the time. Quote Share this post Link to post
Wist 376 Posted August 3, 2013 a real pain in my jingleberries +1 for jingleberries Also, unofficial patches may fix the freeze problems Quote Share this post Link to post
