Why you believe your ban was unfair/disproportionate (Including any evidence to support your claim):

I think my ban is unfair as I only quoted a song, "Nigga's in Paris". The fact that I said "Nigga's in Paris" isn't racist, it's the fact that the admin who banned me said it is racist that makes it racist, otherwise it would be okay. Also the fact that it was not said in a offensive way or directed at anyone does not justify my ban.

Racism can also be projected as prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief however the term "nigga's in Paris" is not prejudging people or discriminating anyone on a belief. The fact that two black people can also call each other "nigga's" and nothing thought of it would entail that anyone could call them it, and as what I said was not portrayed in a bad way and was not said to be offensive or discriminating it makes the comment not racist.

We've always classed that as racism, its only an hour ban if you could be bothered to check, in the future don't use any slang terms like that

It doesn't actually say how long my ban is when I try to join, if there is another way to find out I would like to know but I would of checked if I knew how. Its besides the point as if I ever want to become member, the application would be jeopardised as I have now been banned regardless of the amount of time.

1. At the top of our forum there is a button link saying: Bans. Perhaps be so smart to click on there when banned.

Also remember that you should mention if you have been banned from our server before. We will not accept you onto trial if you have 2 or more bans on sourcebans within 2 months of your last ban. Severe bans will be looked upon differently however.

I would've banned anyone who plays a song like that for a week. If not longer.

You have to be really stupid to come with a song like that on the server. No offence genesis, I like u as a player, but that's just one of the most stupid things you could do.

Next time run with a board around your neck trough the streets where black people live, with written on it "hello niggas of paris".

Hi Gen.

We have a really strict no racism policy on the server. I looked upon you favourably as I know you didn't mean it maliciously in any way, and I understand it's a song. However, some form of action had to be taken.. if it was another admin then it's likely the ban would've been longer. Just be careful etc, I know I don't need to tell you.

In response to the "it's the fact that the admin who banned me said it is racist that makes it racist, otherwise it would be okay", that's not true at all. There are people all over the world that find that term offensive - It's a word that's always been used in a pejorative manner.

We have new people that join the server every day and if that's the first thing they see, it doesn't present a good first impression.

Also, you'll find that most black people take offense at the word and don't use it to address eachother, especially the older community. I highly doubt you yourself would call someone that?
