Gameranger was created for games that no longer have servers. Basically you all add each other to friends list, 1 rcreates a lobby, you join lobby, he launches game, it does all the stuff itself, then it automaticaLLY launches your game, and automatically joins the multiplayer, no fucking around with IPs etc.

We used to use it when Borderlands came out and all the servers were shit

Doesn't matter who is hosting, sometimes everybody just times out at the same time except for the host. I am pretty sure it's GameRanger which loses connection for a second making us all time out.

Twist has one of the better connections atm. Monsters do tend to teleport sometimes but it's not bad at all.
