Gaming mouse and Gaming Keyboard

So when I was searching for a gaming pc I came across gaming mouse and keyboard.

So what do these actually do?. On a mouse the only difference I see is numbers on the mouse and with the keyboard I only saw extra buttons.

Anyway, the extra buttons are basically macros that you can set for games, usually for strategy games or MMO's, games like that.

Some look sexy as fuck whilst being more ergonomically. They function better essentially. Most are better designed. Many have cool names.

The only reason why I would ever buy a mouse or keyboard with multiple extra buttons is to play MMO's or RTS games. They can help you to quickly use skills in-game ( especially if placed on extra buttons on mouse, save the trouble of pressing any key ).

It could also be useful for big programs that have a lot of features so you can bind some features to a key for quicker access. Examples of this would be 3DSMax and PhotoShop ( I use these programs ).

DPI, kinda like fps of the mouse world, the higher the dpi the smoother your mouse.

If im correct, the higher the resolution you play games in the more pixels present, the higher DPI, the more likley your going to be able to aim your mouse at that said Pixel, such as a T's head on JB. TBH i only have a high DPI'd mouse for when i used to play cs competitively where quick fire action was needed.

I hope this makes sense as it was 6:20 and i've only been up 5 mins lol!
