You kinda missed the point I was trying to get across, sure I'm not prime member material but is it a crime to want it too much? (Also no-one has actually declined me yet, just locked the topic). I can think of many possible members that are being declined because of there age when they are active friendly and really nice people that would make great members, I'm not going to say any names because I'll forget someone and make them sad. If my age is among the last of them whats the point of the age limit, I'm assuming you lump me in with Daemonic and Mr Cat and others alike but if you don't want them in the community then there age isn't going to stop them, it'll be the fact that they're annoying, and/or twats, of course Deamonic became old enough to get into the community a while back but he didn't really succeed, in fact quite the opposite happened, he got permed. The TS3 isn't member only, nor the Forums, JB server, 1.6 server, or TF2 server, why should OB have a member only minecraft server? that doesn't just exclude some of the community but drain it from the other servers as well. OB is draining and I'm not trying to be a negative nancy but being a primarily TS3 and Forums the only way we can get people to join is through word of mouth, which isn't very effective, the other option would be to populate the Prison br- oh we can't everyone's playing MC, and that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't member only, the only reason someone would want to join this community is to play on a popular public server, well aside from the community aspect, getting together and playing random games like Killing Floor, (that was fun last night Haydo, Venga) but plenty of other communities have that. Communities like TmF, which we all know is a piss poor excuse for a community, but to a player looking for a community: Community with TS3, forums and a member only minecraft server and to be member you have to be 15+ ^ (that's a greater than sign face up) Community with multiple servers and active players, forums and TS3 Of course the people in OB are much nicer but nobody looking for a community knows that yet, I know which community I would choose. Onto me bitching about the age limit for member, it's fucking stupid, and that's not just because I'm 13, it's there to keep out the annoying little kids I know, but really, it doesn't matter if they're a kid horrible kids turn out to be horrible adults regardless of age I doubt anyone like this would get member. Let's take JDOG as an example, when he joined he was under 15: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=41 and then he applied for mod which he got so what now would have been an underaged member, got into the community and got mod. I've been here for 2 years, longer than some mods yet I'm denied member because of a petty number I would be ok with being declined as long as it wasn't because of my age, I'm not going to make a massive deal about it, and if anyone disagrees with my opinion after I post this that's fine, I'm not going to go bitchmode. JohnDoe, the only reason your getting that click money is because people are being forced to watch an advertisement for 5 seconds before they skip, you wouldn't get money for just views with no adverts. JohnDoe not understanding how YT works. Some of the money is derived from views, but most is the time spent watching the ad, a full watch makes more than a skip; the ads aren't on there to troll people, companies buy ad space on YT, if there were no adverts then it would be like giving out money to someone because they're popular. The correlation between ads and views is that 5 seconds at the start of the ad where you can't actually skip it, I'm glad adblocker is going big because it's going to cut of the Youtuber's who scream dicks up there arse while being tit fed by machina and playing cod with there noses. ^^^^^ everything honey said. I enjoy jailbreak more than mini games, and am willing to command (however shitty my commanding may be) I would gladly go T if asked and am fairly lax with the T's and tend to die horrifically. What qualities can you bring to Outbreak?: I feel that I can take a good joke (or troll) and don't take insults too heavily, I can't bring anything that Outbreak doesn't already have, but I do feel I am a semi-decent commander and integrate with the community nicely. Tell us a little something about yourself: I first joined the JB server sometime late 2011 or early 2012, my memory is fuzzy but the first thing I remembered was Tiny and Biggles commanding on ba_jail_lego and then promptly being killed because I had no idea what I was supposed to do, I was only 11 and not the smartest, my most fondest memories are however 3-4 months later, when I matured enough to understand how great Outbreak is; Twist was an admin, Fin was there, other Fin was there, Lynet Archangel hadn't left yet and the warning shots rule was being implemented; the servers were full and brimming Now my voice has deepened enough to not be called a squeaker and kicked of CT all the time, and the servers are semi-populated most of the time and much has changed, rules have changed, maps have been added and removed but the fact that Outbreak is a big waste of time will never change, a brilliant waste of time filled with lovely people. Enough about OB, I'm 13, ginger and in school, (I like to think) that I am fairly well educated and am on mental par with many members of OB, my dad has spoiled me with my lovely gaming rig (which I am very thankful for) and I do not regret using it to look at Vin Diesel's face in 1080p. I have an (incredibly bad) sense of humor and love a good joke, even when it's on me, I feel like I'm repeating myself in my member app. The main reason for me applying is to see what the community thinks of me, I realize that I'll be declined because of the +15 age limit but in 2 years if we're still here I'll try again, and if I don't get it then I'll keep trying till I do.
