Server Moderators

For those who are observant you may have noticed a new rank in the legend at the bottom of the forum. This new rank comes under 'Moderator' in the hierarchy known simply as 'Server Mod', these are members who spend a large amount of time on the server and provide a positive representation of our community by upholding the server's values and rules.

The Server Mod gets only basic admin commands to use on the server accordingly and access to the moderator section of the forums, no other perks are given. Over 1 week we will have applications open for this position, it won't be as strict as Moderator apps and the following things will increase your chance of a position on the team;

♦ You spend a lot of time playing on the server

♦ You have good communication skills

♦ You are intelligent and well known on the server

♦ Use the forums and teamspeak

The following things are a must for becoming a Server Mod;

♦ Microphone

♦ Clean steam account with no VAC bans

♦ Not been banned in the past month

♦ Active

The way Server Moderators are chosen, it'll be an election process during an admin meeting with Moderators and Admins chosing X amount of their top candidates and the results being tallied, so don't be disheartened if you don't get it this time you may have missed out by one vote.

It is worth noting as well that becoming a member of the Admin team is not a privilege and you do not get anymore immunity than other players (as do the rest of the Admin team), it is a job that may require you to join the server whenever available to keep the server clean and friendly.
