Guest Posted November 1, 2012 Hey guys, annoying as it is, my computer has gone and broke on me. I'm not sure if it's totally broken, just when I open CS:S and load a server; it randomly crashes. And then takes about three minutes to stop CS:S. I'm trying to sort out what it is making this happen, since it has been fine up until this week. I did download a driver the other day though. So that might be the problem. If I can't find out the problem, I'll just have to wait until I can afford my Alienware :L So don't expect me on the server for a few days. This has really pissed me off since I've literally just applied for my member trial. But I'll get back to you all ASAP. Thanks, Olly {BabyMonkey} Quote Share this post Link to post

Gaz 13 Posted November 2, 2012 Have you tried validating the steam files? Even uninstalling doesn't remove all the files so you get left with some corrupt/broken ones. As you said it may be an incompatible driver issue though. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted November 2, 2012 I though that the validate steam files was only for when you got the "Application Running" error? Quote Share this post Link to post
