Finnley 565 Posted December 21, 2015 Hey boys, Best start of the freedom from school: computer doesn't boot. Had to reinstall windows, now it has some trouble finding programs and I think it deleted a part of my SSD :(. Can anyone help me with this? Because I have all my games and stuff on a different harddrive, but they don't show up in the programs list of my computer (don't know what it is called in English). I am installing steam right now, maybe steam recognizes my games? On the bright side, I had time to see starwars tfa, FKING AMAZING. Holy moly what a movie. And Finn's a badass, of course he is ;). Tell me what you think :D Have a nice week everyone. Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted December 21, 2015 You need to tell steam where the games library is located. So it's something like Steam --> Settings --> Add a steam library. Then navigate to that other drive. As for your normal programs, they're all still on your other drive, it's just a case of remapping all of the shortcuts for those programs. So browse to that drive then have a look around: Program files and Program files(x86) and look for the .exe to create shortcuts. There's probably a softare that does this for you so have a look around the web. Quote Share this post Link to post
