Story Post A new year has dawned and the Christmas festivities have slowly worn off, the glorious decorations have been removed and placed into hiding once again, and everybody in Outbreak is making their vain attempts at resolutions. Of course the New Year marked some incredibly brilliant things, but unfortunately, it also makes some problematic events; the outbreak servers have unfortunately ran into problems as their host fails to deal with the increased traffic of the Christmas and New Year aids. Unfortunately given the amount of distractions, the Outbreak staff just weren’t ready for the coordinated attack that was launched at their server warehouse. A group of unsavoury individuals managed to break through Outbreaks extensive security while the head security officer, Unseen, was busy picking up the slack of the new mods who had mysteriously disappeared to some sort of cube-like world. In the end, Unseen just didn’t see the attack coming, the unsavoury individuals managed to oust the all-powerful staff member out of his office overlooking all of the poor Outbreak members. In here they were unfortunately able to shut down the jailbreak, prompting a response from the almighty Outbreak community. Will Unseen be able to rally the Outbreak community and retake his office before Conor finds out just how much worse he is compared to Wist? Event – Duck Hunt General ◦ There will be 4 teams of 5. ◦ The event will be split into two halves. ◦ Points will be accumulated in both rounds, the winner obviously being the team with the most points at the end. ◦ We will conduct a test round to begin with to give people a chance to look around the map and get used to their roles. ◦ The objective of the game is for the Terrorists to make it to the end of the run and kill the Counter-Terrorists. ◦ Counter-Terrorists have to stop the Terrorists from getting by shooting them. ◦ As Terrorist you are able to use flashes and smokes to help you. First Half for both maps ◦ 1 team will join Counter-Terrorists take up positions in tower looking at the route that the other 15 Terrorists have to travel down to make it to the end where they will eventually be teleported into the room with the Counter-Terrorists so they can kill them. ◦ Ct's cannot kill the T’s that have been successful in making Points for first half: ◦ 10 points for each Terrorist that make it to the other end. ◦ 5 bonus points for the team who kills the most CT’s at the end. ◦ 1 point for each, T killed. Race to the nest (Second Half on both maps) ◦ Once again it is 5 verses 15 though there is a bit of a twist this time. ◦ T’s will aim to specifically get to the end with in as short of a time as possible as with as many teammates as possible. The end, which we will refer to as the ‘nest’ is basically where you will be teleported to if you reach the end of the course alive. This will be explained in far more detail at the event so if you don’t understand then don’t worry about it. ◦ First person from a team to get to the "nest" (The End) will get 20 points; second will get 15; third will get 10; fourth will get 5. ◦ At the end, the team with the most players in the nest will get 5 bonus points. ◦ The T’s are not allowed to kill the CT’s if they manage to make it to the ‘nest’. Rules ◦ Use Scouts ONLY throughout the whole event if you’re CT. The Desert Eagle and the AWP are both restricted during the event and teams will receive –points if any of their members are found to be using restricted weapons. ◦ T’s can use whatever weapon they find, though an AK is what you will generally be given if you reach the other side. ◦ If you manage to make it in to the ‘nest’ in the second half of the event you must make sure you remain out of the way of the CT’s who are still trying to kill T’s. If you disturb a CT your team will get -5 points, killing a CT will cause your team to get -20 point. Repeat offenders will simply be removed from the event and your team will have to continue without you.
