EPISODE II: THE ABSENTEE WIST STRIKES BACK

In a time of great strife, an older Wist sallied onto jailbreak in search of flattery and children he could laugh at.

Instead, he was confronted with two individuals who requested he write an introduction, on account of his name being popular, yet so mysterious...

The ice around Wist's heart thawed ever so slightly, and Wist climbed down from his ego-podium extravaganza and delved once more into the introduction section...

(Star wars references end here, formatting that and trying to insert the star wars crawl was a bitch)

Wist

My name is, or was, Wist. My real name is Harrison, I'm twenty, and I live in Somerset, England, though in that time I've spent extended periods in London, Bavaria and Indre-et-Loire, France. I'm twenty years old, and have been part of Outbreak for three years now. In that time I have occupied seemingly every position possible, from Owner to Member. I am now safely shelved away as a veteran, which is the dream.

I previously worked for a construction company, and then became a Fire, Health and Safety Officer for Marks and Spencers, before leaving to study at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. I study Human, Social and Political Science, specialising in International Relations and Counter-terrorism, but I am genuinely debating applying for graduate medicine. Regardless, that's a long way off.

In my spare time I row, I'm learning German, I cycle, I've cook, and I game. I play a lot less than I used to, but I enjoy CS:GO, Rocket League, F4, GTAV, and probably if I ever find a way to play it, Star Wars Battlefront. As a kid I used to play Gran Turismo, Rock Band, Ratchet and Clank, Army Men, COD to name but a few. I used to make maps for COD4, actually. I was part of a team that mapped and created Braxi's Deathrun for COD4.

I live with my parents and my dog, Bella. My sister moved out and is an environment artist at Creative Assembly (the guys behind Alien: Isolation, Total War and now HALO WARS 2). I have a girlfriend, Kath, who lives in Geneva and who is an identical twin. Yep, I've mistaken them a few times.

I've always wanted to be a barrister, but I don't know if I can be bothered to do a law conversion course. I love the idea of helping people, but I am conflicted by a desire to make mad dolla'. I like the idea of being a doctor and working for MSF (I am also a COMPLETE hippy, clearly). I want to learn more languages, buy a good camera, travel more, and study hard in the next few years.

Writing this introduction is a little strange, since it comes at the end of my time actively involved in Outbreak. But I drop in and say hello, and there's so many faces I don't recognise I thought it would be a good to idea to accept the recommendation to re-introduce myself.

I'm old friends with a lot of the veterans and mods here (Hell, I hired half of them) and tend to be full of closed-door references. I'd like to think I'm known for being friendly and fair, so do say hello if you see me around, I'm happy to talk (I just don't recognise anyone).
