Minecraft in space anyone?

So a friend of mine showed me this yesterday, it is basicly a sandbox game like Minecraft. It is still in alpha and it's currently being worked on. Not to long ago they added survival mode.

It's looks like it could be some good fun when it is a finished product.

You are able to build your own base and build your own space crafts. How you design them is all up to you. Besides that you are able to play up to 16 players online atm and in the future they are planning on making factions available. Since you are able to shoot other players down etc and steal all their stuff.

Except it uses momentum based damage models, the shit you can do in this game is crazy!

I've not really looked into it but it doesnt look too minecrafty to me. If you really want minecraft in space, check out starmade, or even minecraft mods like galaticraft

I downloaded this a while back on early access. I've played more of it than I care to mention. Something so satisfying about smashing to big things together.

Plus it has engineer in the title so you know it's good.
