"Not for Germany"

So, as I do each night, I enjoy a Magnum: Classic and upon inspection of the wrapper, I noticed something in German which I translated to "Not for Germany"

Why is this written on the pack?

Magnums are THE gentleman's Ice-Cream of choice.

It probably doesn't comply to German health regulations.

There is a refundable bottle deposit in Germany.

A Magnum packet there would have to have a Green dot and the deposit would be returned when recycling.

The Nicht für Deutschland is just to let you know that you can't take it across the border and expect to get money for the empty.
