McLovin 4 Posted January 2, 2013 You might have noticed our Jailbreak server is offline right this moment. We just got notified by our server host that they shut us off from the server due to a multi-gigabit DDoS. This was the message that we recieved: "Hi Kristoffer, I apologize for the difficulty you were having. Unfortunately, your server was the target of a multi-gigabit DDoS attack. We had no other choice but to null route your subscription. This is a precautionary measure to insure the stability of the network. The null route will remain in place for 24-48 hours. We will give you another update once one becomes available." We know who is responsible and unfortunately yes it has to do with RIOT. Polishman has asked his cousin to DDoS us. He succeeded only to be found by our host. It is a shame kids like this exist on earth and deserve no less then a bullet through their brain on a square so every other sad fuck can see it. I apologise for this scene and hope to be able to play on the server anytime soon again. We will keep you up to date. Greetings, McLovin Share this post Link to post
Kriss 35 Posted January 4, 2013 Gameservers: Your null routed was lifted, but it is still being attacked. The null is being added back through the weekend. Share this post Link to post
McLovin 4 Posted January 7, 2013 I have send a mail today this was its content: Hello Gameservers Support, On the second of January a Null Route was set on our server. This had to do with a Multi-Gigabit DDoS. We got this notice from your side: * "Hi Kristoffer, I apologize for the difficulty you were having. Unfortunately, your server was the target of a multi-gigabit DDoS attack. We had no other choice but to null route your subscription. This is a precautionary measure to insure the stability of the network. The null route will remain in place for 24-48 hours. We will give you another update once one becomes available."* The Null Route was disabled but our server was still under attack. And we received a second notice this time saying: *"Your null routed was lifted, but it is still being attacked. The null is being added back through the weekend."* This was the weekend from 5 to 6 January and today it is 7 January and the Null has still not been lifted. After seeing my server offline for 4 days straight now due to this attack I want to know the possibilities and a solution. Is it possible to ban the IP of the one that is sending this DDoS attack? Don't get me wrong I know you have nothing to do with this attack. However I do pay you as my host to have my server online which it has not been for 4 days straight. I look forward to your reply and answers. With Kind Regards, Outbreak Share this post Link to post
McLovin 4 Posted January 7, 2013 The reply I got was pretty robotic. Saying they made a ticket on my behalf. Share this post Link to post
