  1. @Mintlou Not sure if you didn't read this or just forgot about it but Not sure Wardens don't pay for the server although as mention on the application page, See Here Game Server Ideas that can not be done on our Linux server or if a Member+ wishes to create a separate game server would have to be discussed individually.

  3. I'll add the chatbox back with these rules on a trial bases however if it just becomes a toxic mess it'll end up being removed so let's hope that doesn't happen.   4. @gaffeR Nothing much has been done as there wasn't too much interest from the community to do a single community game server at least from the "Hey Outbreak" thread no really seemed to an idea/server that everyone wanted to see OB do. It's why throughout the entire summer, I focused on Events like OB Rocket league, ESL Summer and Lol Summer Championship which had a good amount of success. But if there is something you want the community to actually do please suggest it, so many people want OB to do something but no really says what they want us to actually do, Hell one of your suggestions Gaff was to just wait for a PUBG Custom Servers For JB I've been working on it when I've had time although I'm trying to look for ways to improve it for both new and old players however without removing the OB Style and changing to fit a more "plugin-based" JB, there isn't too much changed and I think it'll end up dying again which is one of the reasons I've held off just throwing it out again. And it'll probably only entertain the most of the old JB players for a month before it just creates a new generation Which doesn't really do much majority of OB Members, which I've been trying to look for something that can give everyone a bit of entertainment. It's also why I've tried to give access / create a way for people to give an idea through the Warden Programme. As there are a few things that people say they'd like to see from OB yet I have doubt that it'll be successful as an OB Community Server but I wanted to create a way for members+ to actually give more involved and create something with OB. There honestly aren't many game server we can create that would actually work for everyone. The biggest games currently being played in our community are the likes of PUBG, League with few people playing CSGO - Though with CSGO most play the Competitive side or small amount of various custom game modes. Kai has recently been working on his Warden Project and I've helped out where I can but we're yet to really announce it or talk much about it until everything it 99% much done, I prefer to announce things this way as previous whenever OB works on anything as if there are delays or something talking a bit more time there always seems quite a few negative comments that don't really help anyone and usually demotivate the person more than anything else. To the shoutbox, I've left the shoutbox thread as it is honestly 100% less cancerous than the original old front page and although the old chat box was used by some people for a general chat/ bit of banter, There was quite a few that took it too far. Whether it was just a baiting or whatever some of the content was just shit talking each other or posting NSFW shit and it seemed to just be getting more toxic. I originally thought we'd keep it under a different area for Member+ but we spoke about it the consensus was that we thought the content wouldn't change it probably continue to get worse and I didn't want to just read toxic content from the members that I'd like to think to represent the community nor did I want to create an area where people the rules are different and they can be as toxic as they want. And to anyone that says "Add it to contain the aids" Let's be honest, it wouldn't contain anything more likely it spread everywhere else.

  10. The Outbreak Warden Project We are currently looking into creating a system where anyone Member+ can have a chance at creating and managing game servers for Outbreak. This new role/rank is going to be called "Warden" it'll be separate from the admin team and it'll be under a new set of guidelines/rules(TBC) Anyone Member+ can apply for the role much like mod apps. In the application form(TBC), they will give an idea for a server with hopefully a detailed plan and give any experience they have with said idea. And if they are selected they will be given access to part of the Dedi to create a game server. It'll be their Job to manage the game server for Outbreak although they would not be fully part of the admin team and would have a separate section on the forums however it would be a role where they could be promoted into the admin team as a whole. I personally want it kept separate from the admin team as I see a "Warden" at the start at least to only be responsible for their project. However, I can see a successful "warden" being promoted into the admin team as a whole if they so want it, it would mean they would have more responsibilities outside of their managed server. The name was suggested to me by Chris, originally I was going to either call it OB Associate(I was watching Suits) or Server Builder or something along those lines. However when Chris suggested it felt weird yet I liked it. It embraces our origins as a JB server, it's easy to call someone the Warden of *Game Sever* e.g. Warden of JB, Warden of MG, etc... also gets a few cheeky GOT memes in there for any true fans. I'm making this post to give the community an idea of what this is and some of my general ideas behind it before official creating it. It's also a chance for me to see if it's something that people actually want to do. Its still just an idea and nothing is set in stone so feel free to ask any questions!

  13. Team Changes: IrishChamp replaced with Jgreg throughout the tournament. After speaking to the captains IrishChamp will be fully replaced by Jgreg throughout the whole tournament. All of the captains agreed to the replacement if you have any issues with it see them as if anyone them had said no, I would not have of accepted him as a replacement. Hypnotized replaced with Liutvi Mestan for the Friday Night. DannyS has been promoted to captain for Team 5 to manage and communicate with his team. Commitment, Please ensure you are available before signing up for this event. There will be no more than 3 games maximum per night which will be dated as soon as we confirm numbers. This is an OB event and failure to comply with event host expectations can result in punishments. A rough guide to the schedule is below; Friday 18th: 18.30 BST - 22.30 BST Saturday 19th: 18.30 BST - 22.30 BST Sunday 20th: 18.30 BST - 22.30 BST Players will only participate for one team in the tournament. Players must use the account name that they register for the tournament with. Players must be able to participate in tournament draft and be at least level 20 to compete. On registering you will be asked to name your role preferences, fill this in seriously or you will not be allowed to compete in the tournament. Note that your preferences do not guarantee what role you will be placed in. The role choices are ADC/Support/Middle/Top/Jungle. Once the teams have been decided, I will then create a battlefy tournament much like the previous League tournament which should provide stats and give a more detailed schedule. Team Management Each team will have 5 players. Players will be expected to be available and turn up for every game scheduled. Teams will be picked based on the sign-up list by selected captains prior to the event date, more information will be provided on captains in time.
